- The Marquis, in a premenitory
move, relocate a large portion of supplies and personnel to a well concealed
and uncharted system. Transport ships, and one refitted Dominion vessel
(the Jadzia)are
escorted by two Starfleet- turned - Marquis ships, (the
USS Resistance and
the USS Vengeance)to establish a base of operations. The system is dubbed
"Rho'Vania."
- The system, abounding in
resources becomes a ship and weapon production facility, far enough from
the reach of the Cardassian/Dominion Alliance. In new hope and safety,
they begin to work to provide supplies to the badlands, both military and
domestic. The new Marquis installation is provided with weapons, supplies
and technology from an unknown Starfleet as well as Klingon source.
- The Marquis' bases in the
badlands along with the USS Vengeance are soon after eliminated by the
Cardassian/Dominion forces. In the aftermath, the hidden Rho'Vanian Fleet
gives up the war with their enemies and sets about founding a new homeworld
in the Rho'Vanian
System.
- Rho'Vania Prime's moon, Nalani,
was the first base of operations in the system while Rho`Vania Prime was
being Terraformed. All necessary raw materials for the production of ships,
weapons and the in-system security coming from the
asteroid belt
and mining facilities on
Cydonia.

- The Rho'Vanian Government
is approached by The United Federation of Planets after the system has
become one of the best armed, and powerful systems in the region. An offer
of membership in the UFP is made, however, the people of Rho'Vania cannot
put aside war-sore grudges and refuse membership. After much debate, a
careful alliance with the UFP was approved and diplomatic and trade relations
established.
